Ms. Williams recently joined the firm as an associate. Her extensive background as an investigative journalist gives her unique qualifications for litigating difficult cases. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Williams worked as a correspondent for ABC News and the local ABC affiliate in Dallas. She received two prestigious Edward R. Murrow awards and an Emmy for her reporting. A number of corporations and individuals have retained Ms. Williams for her expertise in media strategy. Ms. Williams has helped them maneuver media assaults and image crises. Ms. Williams also understands the trepidation many clients feel when thrust into a lawsuit. As a journalist, Ms. Williams was unsuccessfully sued several times, which gives her insight into the legal system from a client’s perspective. Ms. Williams is a committed litigator who is passionate about her practice and the people she protects.
