Mr. Young has represented plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits inside and outside Texas. His diverse business litigation background includes breach of contract cases involving partnership disputes, employment cases, and real estate transactions, as well as business tort cases and issues. He has litigated complex cases concerning real estate development and acquisitions, large scale landlord-tenant issues, trademark and copyright infringement claims, and debtor/creditor relationships. In addition, Mr. Young has extensive experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, having handled large cost recovery cases involving defective assembly parts and recalls.
In addition to his business litigation practice, Mr. Young represents a number of Texas municipalities, principally in connection with labor and employment arbitrations and lawsuits, including civil rights actions. Mr. Young has frequently represented clients in arbitration proceedings, having tried more than 30 arbitration cases administered by a variety of organizations and agencies. Mr. Young works closely with clients, putting together trial teams where each lawyer plays an essential role.
