Practice Overview

Mr. Lynch’s practice concentrates on commercial and business litigation. He has represented clients in matters such as shareholder disputes, complex real estate disputes, construction litigation involving the renovation of a city-owned golf course, partnership disputes, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Lynch represented a judgment creditor of a foreign country, a case that demanded extensive briefing and a continuing analysis and reconciliation of complicated issues and international law. Mr. Lynch also has represented municipalities and counties in employment, land use, and civil rights matters, defended well-known insurance companies in complex claims cases (particularly in long-term disability claim disputes, both ERISA and non-ERISA), and briefed and argued appeals both in state and federal court.

Formerly a clerk for the Honorable Jorge A. Solis in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Mr. Lynch is well steeped in courtroom etiquette and has substantive procedural knowledge. He makes a point of interacting with his clients on a personal basis, describing his practice as “litigation with a personal touch.” His clients include major insurance companies, municipalities, real estate companies, smaller growing companies, and individual business owners.
