Ms. Muñoz Huschka’s practice primarily focuses on business, commercial, insurance, and labor and employment litigation. She has represented clients in commercial contract disputes, cases related to title, life, health, and disability insurance litigation, partnership and business disputes, and a wide spectrum of employment matters. Her labor and employment experience specifically includes representing both employers and employees concerning unemployment benefits, ERISA, wage and hour disputes, Title VII, harassment, trade secrets, and restrictive covenants in both litigation and arbitration. Ms. Muñoz Huschka also maintains an extensive ERISA litigation docket and enjoys tracking the latest ERISA-jurisprudence trends and rulings. Prior to joining Figari + Davenport, Ms. Muñoz Huschka practiced at a business litigation firm and gained extensive litigation experience on both the plaintiff and defense side in federal and state courts, securing optimum results for her clients from securing pre-judgment injunctive orders to appellate review relief. Ms. Muñoz Huschka takes a grassroots approach to her cases, working to develop the strategy of each case, initiating tactical motion practice, and advocating in the courtroom.
