John H. Yoon Practice Overview

Mr. Yoon focuses on representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of practice areas, including health and disability insurance matters and complex commercial disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Yoon gained experience in federal courts while interning for the Honorable Chief Judge Barbara M. G. Lynn and the Honorable Judge Reed O’Connor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Yoon also has experience in Texas state courts from interning with the Honorable Judge Paula M. Rosales of the Dallas County Court at Law No. 4. In addition to his experiences as a judicial intern, Mr. Yoon also served as a law clerk in the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
Mr. Yoon is no stranger to hard work. Mr. Yoon and his family achieved the American Dream by successfully starting a donut shop after immigrating from South Korea. Mr. Yoon brings the same work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit to resolving legal disputes for his clients. Mr. Yoon is fluent in Korean and enjoys figuring out his identity crisis (UT vs. A&M) during college football seasons.
