Since joining Figari + Davenport, Mr. Jean has gained experience in a variety of practice areas focusing on labor and employment, business, and insurance litigation.  He also has significant experience on cases related to subrogation rights, the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Section 1983.  Mr. Jean has extensive state and federal court experience, having served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Carolyn Wright of the Fifth District Court of Appeals at Dallas and the Honorable Christine A. Nowak of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, through which he gained experience analyzing varied and complex cases from initial filing through appeal.  He plays an active role in his cases—participating in the formulation of case strategy, working to develop the facts of each case, and drafting motions and briefs.
